Catch a Play
Most of Bangalore’s play watching experience happens here. You can catch a play in any evening of the year except for Mondays which happens to be a theater holiday. You can just walk in and catch a play, however seats are needed to be booked well in advance. Besides tickets are inexpensive here. Ranga Shankara has facilitated any theater group to perform at Ranga Shankara by making it inexpensive and affordable.

- Be on time, or else there is a risk of not being allowed inside the hall.

The cafe at Ranga Shankara is quaint, and nice place to catch up with friends before, or after watching a show. They serve delicious short bites, and beverages.

Meet the actors
You may sometimes catch actors rehearsing a play, or just meeting people. It is a good idea to meet actors and give them your opinion on their performance. Buy them coffee while at it. If lucky you could meet Girish Karnad or Anrundati Nag.
